Introduction

Meet CSP switching expert Mike Austin. He’s been helping client’s with their software licensing for over 20 years. 10 of which were spent at Microsoft directly working on their licensing programs. First we will go through the differences of each licensing vehicles (EA vs. CSP) to nail down our understanding of them. Then, we will look at the products you can & can’t put into each, the user and device differences, the cost of technical support, and migrating to Azure.

Meet Mike, Your CSP Instructor:

The EA to CSP course has been developed based on CEO and Founder Mike Austin’s 10+ years of experience as a member of the software licensing group at Microsoft and his considerable time spent working in the private SAM consulting industry.

It was here where Mike came to understand how Microsoft uses their licensing schemes, contract vehicles, and sales tactics to get companies to overbuy software that rarely gets used.
